Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
Duties:
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Utilize RF scanning equipment to track inventory
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques
- Experience with clamp trucks is a plus
- Basic math skills for inventory counting
- Ability to work effectively under the direction of a warehouse supervisor
- Familiarity with order picking processes
- Competency in using lift trucks safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Experience with pallet jacks for moving goods
